Nest House was designed around a simple idea: a home does not need to be perfect — it needs to feel honest, warm, and deeply connected to the people living in it. A space able to keep up with the rhythm of a young family, with busy mornings, toys scattered around the house, work-from-home moments, quiet evenings, and time spent together.
The project started from the need for flexibility. In a family with a child, routines are constantly changing, and the interior has to naturally adapt to every stage of daily life. Each area was therefore designed to serve multiple functions while maintaining a cohesive atmosphere and visual balance.
The living area brings together the lounge, dining space, and kitchen into one fluid and bright environment where everything revolves around connection and togetherness. Natural materials, soft textures, and warm tones create a calm and grounded atmosphere, while the furniture keeps a simple and functional aesthetic.
One of the main challenges of the project was integrating spaces dedicated to the child without visually fragmenting the home. The child’s room was imagined as a flexible environment that can evolve over time while preserving the same soft and harmonious feeling found throughout the entire apartment.
The master bedroom continues the same tactile and serene direction, becoming a discreet retreat, while the bathrooms and storage areas were integrated as naturally as possible in order to preserve the feeling of openness and ease.
Nest House is, above all, about balance — between functionality and emotion, between the dynamic rhythm of family life and the need for calm. An interior that does not try to impress through excess, but through the way it gently supports everyday life.
