A 30 sqm open space designed as a focused intervention within an already defined home — a constraint that becomes the core of the concept.

Interior design is often associated with full transformations, large-scale projects that reshape entire homes. But reality is more nuanced. Sometimes, change begins with a single room. And precisely this limitation becomes an exercise in balance: how do you create a space that feels complete on its own, yet seamlessly connects to an existing environment?

This project explores that delicate balance — a design that doesn’t seek to dominate, but to complement.

A neutral color palette, warm materials, and layered textures create a calm, inviting atmosphere where minimalism is not just a visual choice, but a mindset — a way of simplifying without stripping away character.

And yet, minimalism is not universally natural. Beyond clean compositions and curated visuals lies everyday life — filled with objects, habits, and personal layers. Many people aspire to simplicity, but live in ways that subtly contradict it.

This space becomes a dialogue between these two realities: the desire for clarity and the need for authenticity.

The result is not a strict minimalism, but an adapted one — warm, flexible, and deeply connected to real living.
