JOY – Reimagining the Medical Space

Team project carried out at Pianoterra Studio, together with Alina Vîlcu and Radu Dumencu. Regina Maria Băneasa Clinic reinterprets the traditional medical environment, transforming it into a space of comfort, optimism, and contemporary elegance.

The design goes beyond functionality – it creates emotion. Through natural light, warm materials, and vibrant accents, the spaces convey serenity and trust, redefining the medical experience as part of a proactive lifestyle.

Reception areas, waiting zones, and wayfinding routes were designed intuitively, ensuring that patients feel safe and inspired. Contemporary art elements, bold colors, and a careful approach to lighting turn the clinic into a modern wellness hub – a place where medical visits become a positive and memorable experience.
